Agricultural professionals know that one of the secrets to having perfect plants is having perfect soil. Perfect soil is one that is porous, well-aerated so that roots can grow deeper, and where biological activity can proceed healthily.

Compacted soils cause unhealthy plants and trees. When these soils are watered, they turn into doughy mud, and when they dry, they become hard as rocks.
